Hello there! We are a small family run kennel in Eastern Washington. I am the mother of one wild redhead daughter, who 'helps' play with and trains all our dogs with us. I grew up in Western Washington, and then spent a full decade in rural Idaho but now we call the rugged sage steppe of Eastern Washington home. My entire life has revolved around owning and handling dogs, originally my love is for terriers but I developed a passion for hunting poodles when my first boy decided the show ring wasn't his style. Learning to handle and run poodles has been a constant process as each dog teaches me new things. I have spent roughly 12+ years professionally handling dogs and each dog teaches me something new!
I have are passionate about the uplands and the creatures that inhabit them. This has driven me to maintain our personal property as a haven for upland birds and other native species, just a little thing giving back to the place we hunt from. Our dogs are tested in real world conditions outside of the test scene, where we have to work as a team for every bird in the bag.
We are not a big time kennel operation, nor will you see us regularly producing litters as it isn't our focus. We would much rather invest in running our dogs, their absolute comfort, and making memories together. We also operate a small in home training kennel, and are working on expanding it in the future. If you would like to follow our adventures, please follow us on any of our social media platforms.
East of the cascades, we run poodles in the rugged terrain on that holds a plethora of wild birds.
We have made our home just outside of Prosser just west of the Tri-Cities area of Washington, allowing for all the fine features of the city when needed without giving up the fine natural wonder of the pacific northwest. Prosser is a lovely wine valley town, with all the amenities one could wish for, situated just 40 minutes outside the larger Tri-Cities metro area. The ranch is open to visitors and those who wish to meet or dogs by appointment only, so please feel free to reach out.
We have a lovely piece of land with a lot of natural features and terrain for play and work. The ranch is home to a varriety of other farm critters mostly punctuated by a handful of registered texas longhorn stock, who do a fine job keeping the place mowed. To find out more about the dog part of life here visit the training page of our website. Come have a sit on the porch with a glass of local wine and talk dogs with us!
